Can I dispute my fine?

Generally, fines are charged for late return of loans. It is the borrower’s responsibility to note the due date of a loan and return it on time. Any unpaid fines will prevent you from being allowed to borrow again. If you cannot return a loan on time, contact the library as soon as possible.

If however you have a valid reason for not returning or renewing your book on time you can fill in a fine consultation form and we will look to see if the reason given is sufficient to waive the fine. You are welcome to submit a copy of any medical documentation etc. in order to verify your reasons.
