How Can I view theses including non-Bangor theses during the Coronavirus crisis?

If you need to consult a physical thesis housed in The Main Library, we have a small number of bookable, socially distanced study spaces available reserved for this specific purpose through our Reserve and Read Service. Please contact us on library@bangor.ac.uk if you need to consult a thesis at any of our other libraries.

A number of Bangor University PhD Theses have been uploaded to the University's Digital Repository and are available to access electronically through Library Search, the library catalogue.

Search under the Bangor E-Resources search scope, type in your keyword and then limit your search by ticking the Theses box under Resource Type from the Refine my Results menu on the right and click Apply Filters.

You can widen your search to include UK doctoral research theses from other Universities, searching across the British Library’s Ethos (Electronic Thesis Online Service) collection giving you full text access to almost 100,000 theses, by searching under the Everything scope, typing in your keywords and then limiting your search by ticking the Theses box under Resource Type from the Refine my Results menu on the right, and then clicking Apply Filters.
