What facilities are available at the Wrexham Maelor Library during the Coronavirus crisis?

Click and Collect Service

There is no user access to bookshelves, so please use Click and Collect if you want a book. Please click here for more information.  It is possible to virtually browse the bookshelves and in many cases the contents pages online through Library Search, the Library Catalogue. See our online guide for further details.

Study Space

The Wrexham Library has a variety of bookable study spaces available.

To book your seat, please email iss60a@bangor.ac.uk to request a study space. Make sure your email includes the following:

  • Date required
  • Time slot – we offer Morning 10.00am-4.00pm
  • Type of space required - Computer, Desk or Quiet Reading space

We have 15 computer spaces, 13 desk spaces and 6 quiet reading spaces for you to choose from. You will need to bring your Student/Staff card with you to access the library building.

Facilities

Print, Copy, Scan - Machines are available for printing, copying, and scanning. Please buy credits online at https://papercut.bangor.ac.uk/user

Toilets – Toilets, including disabled access toilets, are available for use within the building. Please follow the guidance provided onsite.

Book Returns – Books can be returned at the book bin outside the library.

Please note:

All spaces are for individual use. No group working facilities are available currently.

You will need to bring your Student/Staff card with you to access the Wrexham Library building.

You are welcome to bring water with you as the vending and water machines will not be available.

You must always wear a face covering when in the library building unless exempt.
